  1. Aloha Monica, I am a RPCV and a friend of your dad. I just watched a documentary about the Peace Corp that I think you and your parents would find interesting. Please send me your email address so I can send you the information about it to you. The documentary has not yet been released to the public so you have to find a showing.
I also would suggest you watch a movie “Searching for Nepal” https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1197861387/searching-for-nepal , which is about a RPCV. I think it is on Netflix.
I was part of the Micro VII group on Yap Island and my husband, Al, was in the Micro VI group. So you know we are “seasoned RPCVs” and had very different experiences than you.
I am sorry you had to cut short your experience and I hope you can return. After you watch this documentary you will have a really good understand about how and why there is a Peace Corps.
We now live Hawaii which is filled with RPCVs.

  2. You are a beautiful soul, person, friend, and many more. Your smile lightens up a room and fills it with blissful curiosity and a sense of compassion.
